Change and Excess baggage fees
Air New Zealand wishes to remind agents of our Change and Excess Baggage fees for customers traveling ex New Zealand.
Change Fees
To advise your customers of their applicable change fees, please refer to the fare rules within your GDS or airnzagent.co.nz.
Prepaid Excess Baggage fees
Destination | 1st and 2nd Extra Bags | ||
Domestic New Zealand | NZD $45 per bag | ||
To Australia and Pacific Islands, excluding Perth, Honolulu and Bali (Denpasar) | NZD $95 per bag | ||
To Rest of the World | NZD $160 per bag |

Airport Excess Baggage fees
Please see the below fees for customers purchasing excess baggage at the Airport on the day of travel.

Domestic New Zealand | NZD $60 per bag | NZD $40 |
To Australia and Pacific Islands, | NZD $115 per bag | NZD $80 |
To Rest of the World | NZD $195 per bag | NZD $120 |
Please note: Extra Bags are only available on Air New Zealand operated flights. These are not available for pre-purchase on codeshare flights or flights operated by other partner airlines.
