The addition of Málaga enhances Malta’s accessibility from the Spanish market and creates new opportunities for inbound leisure travel from southern Spain.
Malta offers Spanish travellers a distinctive Mediterranean escape, combining year-round sunshine, crystal-clear waters, rich history, and a vibrant cultural scene. Visitors can discover the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, explore the historic streets of Mdina, enjoy coastal experiences in Gozo and Comino, or relax at popular seaside locations such as St Julian’s, Sliema, and Mellieħa. With its mix of heritage, gastronomy, outdoor activities, and easy island-to-island travel, Malta is an ideal destination for short breaks and longer summer holidays alike.
