With the goal of strengthening connectivity in Latin America and responding to growing demand, Copa Airlines will expand the connection structure at the Hub of the Americas®, increasing the number of connection banks from six to eight. This new structure will allow us to distribute connections more efficiently throughout the day, offering passengers a wider variety of itineraries and schedules, while strengthening connectivity across our extensive route network on the continent.
The new itineraries are now available for sale and are scheduled to begin operations in March 2027.
Among the main benefits for our customers are:

- More schedule options, offering more convenient alternatives for both business and leisure travel.
- Improved schedules to and from South America, with more attractive departure and arrival times in cities such as Buenos Aires and São Paulo, as well as more itinerary options, especially in the morning and afternoon.
- New connection opportunities between North America, Mexico, and South America, with itineraries that reduce travel times and allow passengers to arrive earlier at their final destination.
- Earlier arrivals at vacation destinations and high-demand cities, allowing passengers to make the most of their time at their destination from day one.
- Greater flexibility in short- and medium-haul markets, with return flights later in the day without affecting connectivity, providing more time for business or leisure activities.
- A more spread-out schedule in markets where there are currently several flights concentrated in the same time of day, offering more options so that each passenger can find the itinerary that best suits their needs.
- Greater availability of the Dreams Business Class product in more markets across our network. Throughout 2027, this product will be gradually introduced on additional routes, with destinations to be announced in due course
This development will enable us to offer a more convenient and flexible travel experience, with more options for connecting between the continent’s major markets and a network equipped to support future growth in demand in our region.
